Flip Six
Overview
Flip Six is a trivia game developed by Hermitage Studios LLC. This Privacy Policy explains what information the app collects, how it is used, and what choices you have. Flip Six has no custom backend — your gameplay data stays on your device. The only data that leaves your device goes to Apple (Game Center leaderboards, if you opt in) and Google (ads).
Information We Collect
Gameplay data (stored locally on your device)
Flip Six saves your scores, level progress (Elementary through Doctoral), difficulty setting, lifeline counts, and session history using on-device storage. This data never leaves your device unless you have Game Center enabled. Deleting the app removes it entirely.
Game Center leaderboards (optional)
If you are signed into Game Center on your device, Flip Six will submit your score to Apple's global leaderboards after each completed run. Your Game Center player alias and score become visible to other players. Leaderboard participation is optional — the game works fully without it. Game Center data is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy at apple.com/privacy.
Advertising (Google AdMob)
Flip Six displays ads served by Google AdMob. Google may use standard advertising signals — such as general device type and ad interaction data — to serve and measure ads. Flip Six does not request access to your advertising identifier (IDFA) and does not show an App Tracking Transparency prompt. Ad attribution uses Apple's SKAdNetwork framework, which is privacy-preserving and does not identify you personally. Consent (EEA and UK users)
If you are in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom, Google's User Messaging Platform will ask for your consent before serving personalized ads, as required by applicable privacy law. Your consent choice is stored and can be changed at any time through the app.
Information you send us
If you contact us by email, we retain that correspondence in order to respond to you. We do not collect your name, email address, or any other personal information through the app itself.
How We Use Your Information
- To run the game and save your progress between sessions.
- To submit leaderboard scores to Apple Game Center if you are opted in.
- To display ads through Google AdMob that help support the app.
- To comply with ad consent requirements in regulated regions.
- To respond to support requests or questions you send us directly.
We do not sell your data, build marketing profiles, or use your information for any purpose beyond operating the game.
Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or trade your information. Data is shared only as described above: with Apple via Game Center (if you participate in leaderboards) and with Google via AdMob (for ad serving). Both are governed by their own privacy policies. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users.
Data Retention and Deletion
Because Flip Six does not collect personal data, there is nothing on our end to delete.
- Local gameplay data — deleted automatically when you delete the app from your device.
- Game Center leaderboard entries — managed by Apple. Visit Apple's support site to remove your scores or Game Center profile.
- Ad data — managed by Google. See Google's privacy controls at myaccount.google.com.
- Support emails — the only information we hold directly. Email us at the address below and we will delete the correspondence within 30 days.
Children
Flip Six is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
Security
Gameplay data is stored locally on your device and protected by iOS device security. We apply reasonable measures to protect any information we hold directly, such as support correspondence. No system is perfectly secure, but we take this responsibility seriously.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be noted with a revised effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after a change is posted means you accept the updated policy.
